If we're talking about you, then sign up for our online Beginner Brazilian Portuguese course!
This course is a combination of the advantages of a traditional language course and an online version.
I often lacked being systematic or motivated to learn. After the fantastic adventure "Around Italian in 90 days" (which I am continuing), I also decided to start learning Portuguese and once again I do not regret my decision.
Cooperation with others, charitable causes and secret awards made my problems related to both the lack of motivation and regularity fade into oblivion. This course is a combination of the advantages of a traditional language course and an online version. We learn alone, at a convenient time, but in theory not alone, because in a group and under the guidance of a fantastic teacher. We hear a native speaker, but linguistic complexities are explained in Polish. We do not have to move from our homes, but at the same time we have the opportunity to virtually travel around the most interesting parts of a given country.
This course requires a lot of effort and learning every day, but it's worth it. The effects will surely surprise everyone. I am sure that those who really want to learn a foreign language have just found the right course!
After the course, I understand 80% of simple YouTube videos.
What was the biggest problem for me before I enrolled in the course? It depends on which language. With Portuguese I had a serious problem with pronunciation. The course certainly helped me to listen and remember a lot phonetically.
What made you sign up for this course? My planned trip to Brazil and willingness to embrace the language basics on the trip. I'm learning Spanish which helped a little with the understanding.
What did you like the most about the course? I liked the regularity which was helped by the course structure. Nice audio flashcards, because plain flashcards are not so interesting.
How do you evaluate the effects of learning after 3 months? After the course, I understand 80% of simple YouTube videos. The course gave me a nice basis for further learning, especially past tenses and expressing the future and the present. Spanish helped a bit, but without everyday work, nothing would've happened.
I liked the fact that, whether I wanted it or not, I had to study practically every day
What was the biggest problem for me before I enrolled in the course? Sometimes I had no motivation to sit on my butt and start studying :)
What made me sign up for the course? I was already following the Secrets of Polyglots website and I had read Konrad's book. Due to having 2 young children at home, full-time stationary courses were eliminated, so I liked the home-study form of this course and the fact that the offer included languages ββthat I had long wanted to learn (Portuguese and Norwegian).
What did I like the most about the course? I liked the fact that, whether I wanted it or not, I had to study practically every day π Thanks to the course I learned to use every possible minute, because there were very intense weeks, where there was a lot of learning. I did not want to be left behind, so I did not waste time on the so-called "time eaters" and I devoted every possible moment to learning.
How I evaluate the effects of learning after 3 months? I am very satisfied. I feel that I have a good command of the material covered in the course.
